Calibrates and adjusts EEG instrument settings, ensuring high-quality, artifact-free tracings. Performs special recording techniques as necessary. Gains knowledge of EEG technology principles, anatomy, and physiology. Recognizes normal and abnormal EEG activity patterns. Provides patient-focused care, explains procedures clearly to patients or family members, observes clinical manifestations, and handles emergency situations appropriately. Handles administrative duties, such as answering phones, scheduling procedures, keeping records, maintaining supplies, processing patient charges, and ensuring equiptment maintenance. Actively participates in professional development activities, inclusive of conferences, technical meetings, and assigned readings. Education Requirement: High school graduate, required. One week per month, the shift will adjust to 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Rotating holiday coverage is also required. Key Responsibilities Assist with laboratory operations, audits, compliance checks, and reporting, including sample collection and handling. Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes. Manage and maintain cryogenic storage equipment, including handling and inventorying cryopreserved specimens (sperm, oocytes, embryos). Coordinate transportation of cryopreserved specimens with third-party vendors while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system and process medical record requests. Act as a primary point of contact between the laboratory, physicians, and nursing teams for lab-related coordination. Organize and manage laboratory paperwork, supply inventory, and administrative documentation as well as data submission. Assist with additional projects and administrative duties as assigned. Position Requirements Education: Highschool degree required. Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related science field is preferred.
