Provides all medical/psychiatric services in accordance with policies, procedures, and direction established under the contract and related governing bodies. In coordination with other psychiatrists and medical staff, assures that members and residents receive appropriate and timely evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical/psychiatric evaluation whenever indicated, and that all medical/psychiatric care is appropriately documented in the medical record. Provides consultation as needed as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Completes progress notes daily and according to the submission guidelines required by the program. May provide injections. May participate in County Medication Monitoring Review meetings on a monthly basis. May participate in the development, approval and review of all policies, procedures and protocols that govern clinical care. Provides “on-the-spot” counseling that is both helpful to the members and consistent with the philosophy of the program. Travels between sites for the purpose of attending clinical meetings or providing training. Drives on agency business using personal vehicle. Maintains clean driving record as well as currency of driver's license and vehicle insurance/registration. Maintain valid malpractice liability coverage. Adheres to and uphold the policies and procedures of Turning Point Community Programs. Meets the standards set for performance in all aspects of job duties.
