Are you a Warehouse Worker (Picker/Packer) looking for a position in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Emerson has an exciting opportunity for a MATERIAL HANDLER I (Reach Truck Operator) at our Olive Branch, MS distribution center! You will be responsible for LTC labeling, building boxes, picking, and packing of product. Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate quantity and parts are shipped to customers in a production environment.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Labeling and building boxes out of flat box stock and providing them with the stations where they will be filled with products in the Less Than Case department.
Picking and packing product orders with use of an RF scanner.
Complete all work in an accurate and efficient manner.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a high-demand productivity environment.
High attention to quality and quantity detail
Maintaining housekeeping responsibilities daily.
Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures.

For This Role, You Will Need:
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 6 months of related experience or with a distribution center environment.
Requires 6 months -1 year previous forklift operator experience (Reach Truck Required)
Previous receiving/ put away/ replenishment material handling experience
Experience with RF equipment to move product
Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, push and pull for shift for long periods of time.
Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Good communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
Follow directions and see the task through safely.
Ability follow all warehouse PPE requirements.
Required to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Follow written and/or oral instructions in English
Ability to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting and standing positions for long periods of time.

Responsibilities
Examines and packs products while maintaining critical production and quality standards. Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety housekeeping guidelines.
Packs polyethylene bags/liners in a neat and orderly manner according to job specification, closely adhering to the count per box.
Checks quality of products for width and length, seal strength, packaging specifications, twist ties, and any other specification noted as special instructions.
Report all production or equipment problems to Machine Operator and/or Supervisor.
Place date and lot number on all cases.
