THE POSITION:
At our Memphis distribution center, our employees play a critical role in getting life-saving products out to hospitals, clinics and nursing homes. We're open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week because the needs of patients can't wait.
The most important aspect of this position is to productively execute the movement of materials from dock to storage to staging and shipment per EVERSANA SOPs. Sets aside defective product for correction or scrapping to make certain that no defective product reaches the customer.
Works at an effective and safe pace to keep packing bins or stacking tubes clear.
Assists other team members as required, without being asked.
Assists the Pack-Tech in maintaining the packaging floor. Assures smooth flow of product through the packing room by responding to any product jams (bells, buzzers, and lights), clearing the product jam, and restarting the equipment properly and safely. Repackages products that have been mispackaged due to miscounts.
Maintains housekeeping standards by keeping a clean work area at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities: The duties, tasks and responsibilities are ensuring effective and efficient movement of product from one location to another. Maintaining a Safe and clean work environment along with supplying our customer with exceptional Quality, Customer Service and on time delivery is one of CSC's many goals. The Systems include high speed corrugating machines, robotic assembly devices, conveyors, batch mixers, electrical distribution systems, and building automation systems.
Work safely always. Wear proper personal protective equipment (P.P.E.) appropriate to the corrugated environment (safety glasses; ear protection; steel toes shoes and gloves). Comply with all safety policies and procedures and maintain high standards for personal, and team safety.
Inspect trailers prior to loading to ensure they are free and clear of debris.
Load or assist loading product into a trailer following shipping instructions
Scan product back into inventory following shipping instructions
Unload or assist in unloading finished product in or from trailer following shipping instructions
Inspect load in trailer to ensure it is properly loaded and it is the correct load after leaving
Verify count while truck is being unloaded, as allowed by customers
Perform daily truck inspections, and report any maintenance items to management immediately
Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment. Perform housekeeping (wiping down surfaces, sweeping; hosing down; removing trash, debris, and clutter) to keep area and production floor clean and safe.
Ability to ensure product Quality, Cost, and Production goals are met. Participate in training as assigned.
Ability to always exercise common courtesy and common sense to build shift and CSC team relationships through mutual respect, conflict resolution, mutual assistance, and encouragement.
Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement with respect to Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, Cost Production, and Team.
Ability to respond to emergency issues including troubleshooting and clean up, to minimize safety hazards, loss of quality, production, and downtime.
Have good communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of plant operations and facility management
Ability to share knowledge and gain knowledge from the rest of the team is essential

Forklift experience required
Clamp truck experience strongly preferred

Related Military training/experience
Ability to read/interpret schematics
Has basic computer operations
Experience and compliance with OSHA regulations
Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and organized
