WORK EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial. SKILLS: A good command of the English language is required, both written and spoken. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Ability to operate a forklift efficiently. Ability to read and understand routings. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to physically perform essential functions of the job. Must be able to frequently move up to 34 lbs., frequently up to 34 lbs., and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Typically requires sitting and handling on a regular basis, crouching and reaching frequently and standing, walking, stooping, climbing, balancing, and kneeling occasionally. Specific vision requirements include depth perception and peripheral vision. WORKING CONDITIONS: Regularly exposed to noise, odors, chemicals, temperature extremes and vibration. Operation of a forklift and pallet jack is required. Safety glasses, steel-toed shoes with metatarsal protection and gloves are required.
