Primoris Heavy Civil provides highway, port, airfield, rail and marine (intermodal transportation) construction services to private commercial and industrial clients as well as governmental entities such as the Department of Transportation and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Services include: demolition, heavy earthwork, soil stabilization, mass excavation, drainage, pile driving, concrete paving, infrastructure rehabilitation, end-on (top-down) construction, bridge construction, major interstate and highway construction, airports, marine and rail installations; all with self-perform capabilities.
General Requirements:

Functional Requirements:
Ensure assigned construction operations and subcontractors performance are in compliance with specification and within schedules and budget.
Responsible for controlling costs and maintaining profitability.
Perform general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions.
Notify Project Manager of material and equipment needs.
Work with QA/QC department in assuring all quality requirements are being met.
Assist Foreman and General Foreman in maintaining a safe workplace.
Examine drawings and specifications for various work tasks and ensures current information is passed to front line supervisors.
Track project schedule and cost reports.
Schedule crews according to available work packages for the project and all required equipment and materials necessary to complete the task.
Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers.
Conduct regular inspections of craft work and quality as well as insure installation is per specification.
Monitor timely delivery of necessary materials and schedules necessary equipment to ensure continued productivity.
Conduct regular safety meetings with craft employees addressing specific work areas and conditions that require attention stressing compliance with company and regulatory safety procedures.
Coordinate with engineers, client/owner, inspectors, etc. to isolate problems regarding plant’s mechanical equipment and assists in developing solutions to these problems.
Coordinates work activities and installations with other craft supervision to assure productivity and to eliminate conflicts in the field.
Prioritize tasks according to job schedule.
