Job Description The Bistro at Pomegranate Market is looking for an experienced kitchen and front counter clerk. Applicants must share a love for food, a passion for clean eating, be self motivated, and work well in a customer service atmosphere. This is a full-time position and shifts may vary Monday through Saturday between 7:30am - 8:30 pm , and Sundays 10am - 6pm. ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required. Job Requirements: Taking customer orders and delivering food to customers Ability to follow recipes to prepare salads, sandwiches, soups and other dishes Prepare fresh smoothies, juices, brew coffee and tea Clearing tables, cleaning dining area and replenishing supplies Washing dishes, cleaning counters, prep tables, salad bar and steam table Operating juicers, knives, ovens, mixers, dishwasher and other kitchen equipment in a safe manner Ensuring recipes are followed and that the quality of our products are consistent Communicating with customers and team members in English Use of hands/fingers to prepare, package and serve food and beverages Ability to push/pull carts of up to 50# and lifting & carrying up to 25# Standing for long periods of time Bending and reaching to fill/organize products Operating cash register and food scale Starting pay is dependent upon experience w/a 90 day introductory period, casual dress code, relaxed work environment, health & dental insurance, and an employee discount! #hc216209
