    We are hiring a Refrigeration Supervisor for our manufacturing facility in Salina KS.

    This position is responsible for leading directing and coordinating the refrigeration department to optimize performance with regard to safety productivity and quality. This position is also responsible for supporting compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP).

    + Supervise technical maintenance activities trouble shooting and the repair of ammonia refrigeration equipment including vessels evaporators condensers pumps motors compressors valves and other refrigeration equipment.

    + Direct the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all production machinery and any building maintenance needs.

    + Responsible for the food safety sanitation quality and security of the products produced.

    + Ensure compliance with all facets the EPA's Risk Management Program Regulation of a hazardous Chemical facility (Process Safety Management System Management Hazard Assessment Emergency Response program Risk Management Plans Process Hazard Analysis and Offsite Consequence strategies).

    + Contact and coordinate external service agencies as appropriate to schedule refrigeration repair work and ensure timely and effective work order completion.

    + Perform inspections and preventative maintenance as required by PSM schedules.

    + Responsible for maintaining repairing and examining refrigeration systems (both Ammonia and Freon)

    + Perform daily chemical testing and logging all test results making adjustments required to maintain refrigeration & utility system within established limits. Interface with state and federal government agencies as required.

    + Confer with operators and observe test and evaluate operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunctions.

    + Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Ensure all ammonia safety equipment is up to date.

    + Comply with Safety Programs to ensure protection of employees and property.

    + Supervise train and develop subordinates.

    + Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct.
