Job Title: Regional Operations Manager, US East Region
Slalom is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to join our Global Services Operations team. This energetic, connected team supports our growing in-market Office Operations teams through change management, communications, event management, onboarding, coaching, and general office management. Office Operations at Slalom consist of five primary functions: Recognition/Culture, Office/Facilities Management, Onboarding, Executive Administration, and Events. This role balances the needs of individuals and markets within the United States Eastern Region with the goals of Global Teams.
Who you are:
This individual focuses on the support, growth, and development of a varying group of local market Office Operational teams and leadership teams across several markets including, but not limited to: Atlanta, Boston, Hartford, WestCo, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Public Sector, Charlotte, Raleigh, South Florida, and Tampa. In addition, this person will build relationships with teammates/leaders (where applicable) within operations across the organization to advise on relevant execution of Office Operations best practices.
What You'll Do:
- Host community-building and informational virtual experiences for U.S. Eastern Region Office Operations
- Coach in-market Office Operations teams varying in size (1 to 5+) in all areas of Office Operations including office administration, reception expectations, executive support, day-of event execution, venue/vendor negotiations, budgeting, menu planning, vendor coordination, on-site event setup, etc.
- Consult with regional Office Operations teams to ensure operational efficiency and quality service
- Review Office Operations ways of working locally and region-wide to ensure cross-cultural relevance and and best ways
- Serve as a steward and expert of Slalom culture programs for local markets in effort to continue to be a "Best Place to Work"
- Partner with East Region Chief of Staff on regional projects of specialized nature (i.e. Quarterly Regional GM Meeting)
- Drive Office Operations initiatives and hiring market launches in the region in partnership with in-market Talent Acquisition/Recruiting; act as temporary, in-market Office Operations support in the event a market is without a teammate to ensure business continuity (may include large-scale event planning/event execution and unexpected travel)
- Support the strategy and execution of the biennial Office Operations Summit: "OpsCon"
- With support from the Manager, Operations and team, implement key initiatives on behalf of the Global Services Operations team
- Strong background leading [office] operations, project management, and event management in a high-paced environment (in-person, hybrid, and remote)
- Willingness and ability to travel within region at minimum 25%, including 1-2 week-long visits to Seattle, Washington (as safe to do so)
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and influence within all levels of an organization, including senior leadership
