Research and develop repair schemes using blueprints, engineering orders, service bulletins, and other technical publications. Fabricate various sheet metal parts in their entirety by interpreting blueprints, calculating angles, diameters, and bend allowances, and then cutting shaping, and forming the part. What you'll do: * Performs structural aircraft repairs using appropriate sheet metal techniques and fasteners. Builds up surfaces and structures to specifications. About Position The overnight residential worker is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all the clients on the unit/cottage during sleeping hours. They are required to do regularly scheduled bed checks and accurately complete documentation regarding those bed checks. The overnight worker is also responsible for suicide watch on any client who has been designated to be at risk of harming themselves. It is required that the overnight worker remains awake and alert throughout the entire shift. It is expected that the overnight worker performs household duties on the unit/cottage to maintain upkeep and cleanliness as well as to assist them in remaining awake. The overnight worker should be aware of all licensing standards and abide by them at all times. JOB FUNCTION: Provides awake, overnight coverage in one or more of the agency's out-of-home placement programs during normal sleeping hours of residents; ensures care, welfare, safety and security of clients on third shift. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Related experience preferred. Childcare skills Dependability Ability to work objectively with disturbed children. Ability and judgment to work independently. Demonstrated maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in children and families served. Ability to handle job related matters in a professional, diplomatic and confidential manner. Must be 25 years of age to meet DCFS requirements. If residents in the program are female, then the overnight counselor must also be a female in order to meet DCFS requirements. Ability to remain awake while residents are sleeping, and the unit/cottage is quiet. Vision, hearing and speaking ability which allows for effective communication of information. Ability to physically restrain residents as needed; physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job related issues and stress. Valid driver's license and ability to transport self and clients to various locations. Ability to pass DCFS driving requirements.
