CALIBRATION Demonstrates ability and learns to set-up calibration test conditions interpreting calibration procedures, engineering specifications, schematics, or related documents. Demonstrates basic knowledge of electronic principles and calibration requirements per National and International Standards. OPERATIONS SUPPORT Assists with maintenance on a fluid, hydraulic and pneumatic functional systems and investigations into customer reports of technical product or service problems. Provide on-site technical assistance to repair, replace, overhaul or take other corrective action on internal test equipment. Maintains performance and maintenance service records. Ensures accuracy of work instructions and engineer approved documents. FABRICATION With general supervision, employee must be capable in the use of tools, fixtures and gages. Set up and operate many types of machine tools including CNC machines. Plan and fabricate tooling, fixtures and gages. Hold close tolerance and thoroughly understands B/P dimensioning requirements. Familiarity and usage of various materials and material conditions including aluminum, stainless steel, tool steels, plastic, heat-treating, soldering, brazing and welding. QUALIFICATIONS: * Associate's degree in a technical field and/or Calibration certification (Calibration Technician Certification from ASQ or equivalent) is preferred. * 3-5 years of experience as a calibration technician or in a similar field along with knowledge of basic metrology * 5+ years of experience in the use of measurement and test equipment or equivalent training. * Ability to perform calibrations with the guidance of work instructions while maintaining quality, efficiency, and accuracy. * Demonstrated knowledge of Gauge R&R, Measurement Systems Analysis, and quality systems. * Understanding of ISO requirements and ability to effectively utilize databases and office software, including statistical analysis tools.
