As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, designing, constructing, testing, calibrating, adjusting, and modifying replacement parts and servicing various types of electrical and electronic equipment. This includes communication systems, radios, radio-controlled cranes, gauges, measuring devices, ultrasonic and fluidic equipment, PLCs, microprocessors, numerical and programmable controllers, low and high voltage power distribution systems, rectifier equipment, and measuring and testing equipment. You will diagnose and correct problems, proactively seek elimination of wastes and failures, and interface with design and engineering teams to ensure efficient installations, repairs, and maintain equipment documentation integrity. Additionally, you will perform and document preventative maintenance checks, inspections, and repairs using PLCs and other microprocessor-based equipment and computer software applications as required for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification.
