We are seeking an Electronic O&M Developer to be part of a growing team that develops water and wastewater facility Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, standard operating procedures, emergency operating plan documents and training materials to meet regulations and assist utility staff with operation, maintenance, and training for the facilities we design. Responsibilities Develop Operations and Maintenance documentation in accordance with Company and client standards. Produce concise, accurate, complete and ‘easy to understand' technical and operation related narrative descriptions for subjects such as: Water and Wastewater treatment process narratives. Operation and Maintenance procedures for startup, shutdown and routine operation of water and wastewater processes. Treatment process troubleshooting. Equipment and Instrument maintenance, calibration, and control parameters. Apply consistent use of project templates and terminology. Review, understand and interpret equipment vendor and engineering information such as drawings, specifications, data sheets and technical data from O&M information systems such as operation reporting and computerized maintenance management software. Coordinate with project design teams, construction management teams and inspectors to obtain status and information about equipment. Adjust written level of detail to meet varying budget requirements. Adapt to challenging situations and multicultural work environments. Apply basic and advanced word processing and computer skills to add O&M information to Carollo's EOM SharePoint solution. Interact with Carollo and client experts at all organizational levels to gain knowledge of treatment design and unique client operation practices through proactive interview techniques and listening skills. Be available for limited travel to treatment facilities to collect equipment documentation and photography and use interview skills to verify operation and maintenance information. Qualifications Minimum of Associate degree or equivalent industry certification or licensing in Engineering, Environmental Science, Facility Operations or related field. 10 years of experience working in the water or relatable industry and an understanding of engineering practices and services supporting water agencies, regulatory agencies, and water-related associations. Ability to read and understand design drawing including mechanical, electrical on-line, control schematics, and P&IDs. Technical writing experience such as engineering reports, studies and standard procedures. Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail and thorough review of work products.. A strong work ethic, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks within project timelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with groups and individuals at all levels in an organization. Experience with delivering training sessions. Prior development of O&M manuals, operation procedures, conference papers. Pay Range $90,000 to $99,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The Project Controls Engineer is also responsible for the development/oversight of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)/Cost Milestones for the business unit's revenue recognition projects, as well as supporting ongoing intercompany negotiation activities, specifically including, but not limited to, interfacing within the various company resources for pricing on Eaton equipment and services. In this position you will: * Interface with other Eaton plants & services for solutions and price negotiation * Interface with external vendors for quotation requests * Review/create order summaries based off purchase order and proposal files to identify order entry requirements * Responsible for equipment order accuracy, Value-Engineer equipment design and equipment schedule for the project * Develop & compile project submittals and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals * Develop WBS/Cost Milestones forecast worksheets for revenue recognition projects Maintain project schedule, cost tracking, and cost estimate with the project management team * Maintain project documentation control and lead lessons learned * Lead Program level Backlog meetings and margin reviews * Generate 3rd party equipment purchase order requisition * Request authorized price levels for order entry in to Bid Manger * Process requests for Bid Manager equipment configuration and order entry * Provide technical assistance after order receipt & interface with Eaton plants and service organizations * File intercompany warranty Requests and manage warranty for orders * Manage an entire project as an assigned Project Managers (based on project size and complexity) * Manage & support System Factory Acceptance Test * Develop & maintain customer SOV (Schedule of Values) and assist in vendor SOV * Manage Eaton plant & factory communication * Create a bill of materials for a project proposal Qualifications: Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of experience in engineering, sales, project management or field service experience in electrical assemblies, electrical distribution and/or power protection technology OR Associates Degree from an accredited institution and 5 years' experience engineering, sales, project management or field service experience in electrical assemblies, electrical distribution and/or power protection technology * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
