    The SkyWater Florida Sr. Director Advanced Packaging Business Development will champion business for emerging microelectronics advanced packaging opportunities and other SkyWater-targeted programs. This role requires a diverse skillset, a successful candidate should have microelectronics fabrication and packaging expertise, knowledge of US Government (USG) organizations and contracting / funding methods, insight to connect adjacent interests, ability to build and maintain key relationships, strong business acumen, technical understanding of microelectronics packaging, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to speak with authority on SkyWater's value proposition. This role will identify opportunities, and formulate and execute strategies to successfully enter markets through new business engagements to drive significant growth. A key deliverable will be positioning SkyWater Florida technology platforms and services offerings for success with current and future SkyWater Florida programs and platforms as well as derivative market offerings. This position could be a remote role. Identify business opportunities for SkyWater by marketing our technologies and solutions within US Government and DIB stakeholders. Collaborate with the Sales team to capture this business. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in ABET accredited Engineering, Material Science or related program Bachelor's degree in technical field or demonstrable expertise in semiconductor processing and packaging technology or IC design flows. 10+ years' experience in the microelectronics or related industry, including significant experience in the defense application space. Demonstrated and successful career progression into higher level technical or business Management and Leadership roles. 10+ years' experience in a product marketing, business development or sales role. Strong communication skills. Significant knowledge of defense microelectronics market dynamics. Highly proficient computer skills with developed skills in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Willingness and ability to pursue and obtain a security clearance (preferred active PCL) U.S. Citizen Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires sole U.S Citizenship.
