Concert Sound is a client service department on the Oberlin campus. We provide audio, lighting, and staging for various on-campus departments, organizations, and outside clients who use our facilities. We service over 450 events annually, including concerts of multiple genres, lectures, panel discussions, receptions, dinners, weddings, meetings, and sporting events. The events occur in many venues across the college, indoors and out. We have a nightclub that presents rock, punk, and hip-hop shows, a coffeehouse that offers folk and world music, jazz, rock, rap, and the occasional theatrical performance, and several larger venues for our bigger shows. Job Description: A Bucket Operator's primary responsibility is to assist with the clearing & removal of trees along electrical power lines and right-of-ways. A Bucket Operator operates an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with electric lines. The Bucket Operator also operates chain saws, pruners, brush chipper and may be called upon to climb trees using climbing equipment.
