Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Radiology Manager, the Interventional Supervisor will assess and direct the implementation of staffing, departmental or procedural changes. Performs administrative duties of supervision within the department, and is responsible for directing daily departmental activities, technical staff, and ancillary personnel. Will work as an Interventional Technologist to complete the daily work schedule in order to maintain our goal of providing quality patient care and service. The employee will demonstrate a professional approach in his/her work, with emphasis on patient care and in their technical abilities to complete requested exams promptly, while still maintaining patient safety. Patients served include adolescent through adult-geriatric.

What You Need to Be Successful:
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- Graduation from an approved and accredited Radiology educational program required.
- Registration from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists and license as a Medical Radiologic Technologist in the State of Maryland is required.
- Two years experience in field of Special Procedures required.
- Supervisory experience in a Special Procedures department is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge in field of nuclear medicine.
- Strong organizational and managing skills. Ability to deal efficiently, ethically, and courteously with physicians, patients, and hospital staff. Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
