The Membership Coordinator is responsible for generating memberships to promote club sales efforts to achieve and surpass sales goals. Membership Coordinators are responsible for continuously educating themselves on each acac department so that they may address the needs of potential members.
Makes a consistent effort to meet and exceed established sales goals
- Meets and greets all acac members, guests, and prospects with a smile and exhibits positive attitude at all times
- Generates creative ideas for ways to market self and/or membership sales/programs
- Creates a win-win situation between acac and prospective members by finding the right membership options for them and acac
- Keeps work areas neat and organized with sales tools always available
- Systematically follows up with prospective members who have visited the club or expressed interest in acac membership
- Resolves member issues within acac policies
- Interacts with members and team members in an effort to build a referral base
- Tracks daily statistics related to sales process
- Maintains constant knowledge of acac membership pricing and costs
- Maintains knowledge of all acac policies and procedures related to membership sales
- Promotes ongoing membership referral programs
- Learns how to operate CSI (computer software) and ensures working knowledge of the program
- Collaborates with acac Team Members in the spirit of outstanding customer service, teamwork, and communication
- High school diploma or GED required
- College degree preferred
- Experience making commission-based sales preferred
- Must be available to work during the hours outlined in the Job Description
- Highly collaborative, get-it-done nature
- Able to proactively create sales leads through referrals and outreach
- Exceptionally member service oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a calm and efficient manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to and take the initiative to learn about acac programs and events
- Knowledgeable about ongoing acac programs and able to answer questions pertaining to programs and/or registration
- Able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
- Must enjoy working in a team environment
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications a plus
