This cardiac telemetry unit cares for patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, stent placements, ablations, cardiovascular surgeries, and device placements such as pacemakers and AICDs. Nurses here also care for stroke and STEMI patients in a supportive, team-focused environment. Responsibilities Provide direct and individualized patient care in a cardiac telemetry setting. Monitor telemetry, assess conditions, and intervene as needed. Support recovery for post-operative and cardiac intervention patients. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary staff, and patient families. Uphold hospital policies, safety, and quality standards. Qualifications Active Missouri or Compact RN license. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). At least 1 year of acute care cardiac RN experience required. BLS required upon hire; ACLS within 6 months.
