    Pensacola, FL | Full-Time | Days Annual Salary Range: $105,000 to $125,000 (Based on Experience) A high-performing regional hospital in the Pensacola, Florida area is seeking an accomplished Director of Cardiac Care and Medical-Surgical Services (RN) to lead an experienced team providing advanced inpatient cardiac and telemetry care. This position is ideal for a dynamic nursing leader who is ready to influence care delivery at both the bedside and the executive level improving outcomes, staff engagement, and patient satisfaction across a growing service line. The Director will oversee a 24-bed unit, managing nursing operations, clinical quality, and strategic initiatives that support the hospitals mission of delivering high-value, compassionate care. Primary Responsibilities Provide administrative and clinical leadership for all cardiac and medical-surgical nursing operations. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and quality outcomes. Develop and execute departmental goals aligned with hospital-wide performance improvement plans. Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation efficiently to support patient-centered care. Oversee nursing education, competency programs, and leadership development initiatives. Implement strategies to elevate HCAHPS scores, reduce readmissions, and strengthen patient engagement. Maintain continuous readiness for accreditation and regulatory compliance. Foster a positive, accountable team culture that promotes collaboration and innovation.
