* Efficiently controls cooling plant equipment, including centrifugal chillers, pumps, and tower fans.
* Produces and delivers chilled water at the proper operating conditions to cool campus-wide facilities.
* Monitors operating parameters and alarm conditions of cooling and delivery systems and equipment based on established standards.
* Efficiently controls heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment UTRGV-wide from one location.
* Utilizes building automation to monitor facility ambient conditions UTRGV-wide from one location.
* Utilizes building automation to monitor facility HVAC and other equipment from one location.
* Utilizes building automation to monitor and report (as a back-up) life safety alarms from one location.
* Troubleshoots cooling and delivery systems and equipment.

* Documents hourly reading of cooling plant chillers, related equipment, and other instrumentation.

The School of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nursing. The Department of Information Systems offers Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in information systems and in business analytics, a Master of Science in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems. The department faculty engages in high-impact research in information systems, analytics, and quantitative methods and have published in leading business journals. The Robert C. Minimum Qualifications
* Applicants should have an earned doctorate in quantitative methods, business analytics, decision science, data science, statistics, or a closely related field from a Carnegie research university/AACSB International-accredited institution. ABD applicants must complete their doctorate before the fall 2026 semester.
* Applicants must have at least 18 hours of quantitative methods, decision science, statistics, data science, or econometrics-related graduate courses.
