Responsibilities: Perform maintenance repairs on existing traffic systems to ensure their proper functioning and identify any issues or potential hazards. Troubleshoot and repair traffic and street light systems Conduct regular tests and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Monitor and control utility equipment and systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation. Assist in the planning and implementation of system upgrades or improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize workload. Respond to emergency situations and resolve issues promptly. Provide training and guidance to less experienced technicians, as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus. NEC Certification- mandatory. IMSA Level II certified preferred. Class A license holder, preferred. Crane Operator certified, preferred. Skills: Proven experience as a Traffic Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.     The Transportation Technician - Local Driver will support Mueller Transportation Inc. in servicing, repairing and preparing trucks and trailers for customer deliveries. This position will be responsible for safely operating the truck and trailer to make local and short distance deliveries. Perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on trucks & trailers. Essential Job Functions * Perform regular preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment. * Troubleshoot and diagnoses problems with trucks, trailers and equipment. * Responsible for housekeeping in our shipping yards. * Perform repairs on vehicles and equipment as required. * Determine degree of damage to item to be repaired.
