As a Parts Warehouse team member, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our parts department operates smoothly and efficiently every day. Your work will directly contribute to keeping trucks moving and our customers satisfied.
Shift Available:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with a Saturday rotation every other Saturday
What You'll Do:
Receive and Verify Parts:
Handle all inbound parts, including new parts, cores, returns, and more. Ensure accuracy in part numbers, quantities, and condition, and notify management of any discrepancies.
Stock and Organize:
Accurately stock items in their correct locations to maintain an organized warehouse.
Process Orders:
Receive requests, pull orders for will-call or customer delivery, and process front and back counter tickets with attention to detail and timeliness.
Package and Ship:
Securely package products, create accurate documentation, and arrange shipments via UPS, FedEx, or our interbranch service.
Handle Large Shipments:
Safely secure products for transport using palletizing, shrink wrapping, and banding equipment, and accurately create Bills of Lading (BOL) for LTL shipments.
Manage Returns:
Process vendor returns for damaged, inaccurate, or excess parts, and handle warranty parts for vendor inspection following our policies.
Use Equipment Safely:
Operate equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies responsibly, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of related warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
Trucking/Automotive Parts Department experience preferred
Capability of working efficiently while maintaining physical and emotional stamina to safely handle a fast-paced environment with shifting workloads and priorities
A resourceful and collaborative team player who can also manage time effectively and excel independently
Sharp numerical aptitude and keen attention to detail; familiarity with computer inventory systems and MS Office is a plus
Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Job Description
Truck Centers, Inc. is growing, and we're looking for Service Technicians and Certified Diesel Mechanics at all experience levels to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you play a crucial role in our Service department, helping keep our customers on the road by delivering top-notch repairs and maintenance.
Shift:
This position will work 3:30pm-midnight, Monday-Friday with a Saturday rotation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Perform consistent, high-quality work according to OEM, warranty, and dealership standards.
Read repair orders, observe and listen to vehicle operation, obtain diagnostics information, identify root cause malfunctions, plan work procedures, and perform necessary repairs on a vehicle as authorized.
Tackle general and major repairs across various truck systems, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, HVAC, electronics, and more.
Document your diagnostic findings, repair progress, and completed work thoroughly to keep our customers informed and ensure smooth warranty processing.
Work closely with the Parts department to verify parts and collaborate with the Shop Foreman and Service Administration team for status updates or assistance.
Ensure every repair meets quality standards by performing checks and road tests to confirm the issue is resolved.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License with ability to meet insurance requirements is required
Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred; Class A CDL highly preferred
Certificate from a diesel tech training school or a minimum of 4 years mechanical medium- or heavy-duty truck service experience in a shop setting or military installation
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and commitment to providing quality work
Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
Candidates must have their own tools; TCI provides specialty and OEM-required tooling for on-site, communal use

Job Summary

Essential Functions
The incumbent will be responsible for greeting, servicing and general comfort of each passenger

Ensure all passenger train boarding(s) are timely. Will verify passengers are properly ticketed or have the proper travel documents and ensure compliance with baggage requirements prior to admission to station platforms
Required to perform janitorial duties
Handle checked baggage, package express and company materials in the station and on/off train
Minimum Qualifications
Able to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
Able to push or pull a baggage cart and operate baggage equipment (i.e. tow tractor,)
Must have a HS Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver's License required
Preferred Qualifications
Must be skilled in the processing of all types of Amtrak tickets, and a thorough understanding of tariffs to properly price tickets

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You will provide the highest level of customer service through prompt response to all cargo enquiries, complete and accurate bookings and professional communication when following up with the customer on any missing cargo and/or documentation in order for the customers booking to be loaded as scheduled. It is the responsibility of the Export Customer Service Representative to ensure all requirements for the booking are complete so it can be handed over to Load Planning.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Communicate effectively to meet customer requirements, resolve customer problems or complaints expeditiously, and complete booking requests timely.
Working with the warehouse to ensure all cargo booked has been received prior to cut off.
Report any OS&D issues on cargo received to customers, follow up to determine the outcome if the cargo can be shipped, required to be re-packed or collected as it could not be exported.
Chase any missing documentation with the customer to ensure all required paperwork is received prior to cut off.
Complete booking requests
Arrange pick-ups with trucking company
Contact shippers and complete bookings for overseas routings received, making sure to send the booking confirmation details to the origin office/agent and continue to communicate on the status of the booking to ensure they are aware that the cargo was uplifted.
Determine if the customer requires VLS to complete export customs clearance, if so, correspond with the customs broker (if required) and complete the export entry.
Make sure Load Planning is aware of any special requirements on the handling of the cargo.
Add any additional charges to be billed and expenses for the costs on services incurred during the booking process
Lodge any hazardous paperwork with the Haz Team to seek pre approval on VLS being able to handle the cargo
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school or equivalent education; associate degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience; logistics experience preferred
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills (English required); excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
