$1.00 shift differential while working during 2nd shift hours, and $1.50 shift differential while working during 3rd shift hours!
Noble Biomaterials has an opportunity for a Knitting Operator. Hours are 7pm - 7am. Work days will be on a 2 week rotating schedule: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun the first week, and Wed, Thurs, Fri the second week. This position will train on first shift for approximately one month.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain knitting machines.
- Monitor machines to detect faults and ensure effectiveness of knitting process.
- Examine skeins to detect knitting defects.
- Troubleshoot reasons for defects and contact maintenance for assistance when required for mechanical malfunctions.
- Enter daily work into computer system.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Ability to lift 20lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have reliable transportation
