Summary/Objective The Die Cutter Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of die cutting equipment to produce high-quality printed and converted materials according to customer specifications and production standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift: M-TH; 2:00pm-12:00am (40 hours a week)
Essential Functions
Set up, operate all die-cut (Rotary, Bobst) equipment
Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on die cut equipment
Match sample to die cut piece
Maintain quality and productivity
Correct and/or report any unsafe conditions
Train apprentice and entry level members as needed
Competencies
Ability to set up and operate a full range of work on die cut machines including score, die cut, perforate, kiss cut.
Experience with die cut operation on all kinds of substrates including text, book, cover, board.
Ability to read and follow written job tickets and schedules. Good math skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, coworkers and customers.
Ability to operate foil stamp equipment a plus.
Required Education and Experience High School diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in set-up and operating a die cutting machine Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced production environment. Employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration and moderate to loud noise level.

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required dependent upon business necessity.

Key Responsibilities:
Measure and cut glass accurately using manual and automated tools
Inspect and handle glass with care to avoid damage or defects
Work closely with the production team to meet daily output goals
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
Experience cutting glass is preferred but not required
Ability to read a tape measure and work from cut lists
Comfortable working in a production/warehouse environment
Able to lift glass sheets and stand for extended periods
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
