Lead Package Walkdown Coordinator Play an integral role in bringing world-class quality and coordination to one of Worley's most important field functions. As the Lead Package Walkdown Coordinator, you will help align construction, field engineering, quality, and client teams so that every Inspection Walk Package (IWP), Test Work Package (TWP), Construction Work Area (CWA), and Request for Package Completion (RFPC) walkdown flows smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, communication, and clarity-and who enjoys being the steady, informed presence in a fast-moving field environment. Purpose of the role You will be responsible for leading and executing mechanical quality control activities that uphold our standards and exceed client expectations. You will use your advanced knowledge of API 686 practices, millwright techniques, shaft alignment, and fan/fan shroud systems to ensure equipment is installed and maintained with absolute accuracy. This role supports both field execution and the development of quality improvements that strengthen our mechanical discipline across the organization. Core ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed mechanical quality inspections with a focus on rotating equipment, alignment, and system reliability. Apply expert-level knowledge of API 686-or equivalent hands-on experience-to validate installation, repair, and maintenance practices. Lead or support shaft alignment activities, ensuring precision and compliance with specifications. Inspect and evaluate fans, fan shrouds, and associated mechanical components to verify correct installation and operational readiness. Use your millwright background to assess equipment fit, function, and performance, and to advise on corrective actions when needed. Utilize your CWI certification to inspect welds, ensure code compliance, and maintain documentation for structural or mechanical assemblies. Exercise independent judgment when planning, organizing, and prioritizing inspection assignments. Provide work direction or mentorship to junior team members or draftspersons, sharing best practices and offering technical guidance. Communicate clearly and confidently with project teams, clients, and stakeholders, especially when complex issues require expert interpretation. Troubleshoot systems, processes, and tools, and contribute ideas for improvements or new approaches. #LI-JS4What you'll bring to the roleA technical school degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or a comparable mix of education, training, and hands-on expertise. Demonstrated experience working with API 686 (formal qualification or extensive field experience). Strong millwright skills, with experience inspecting and installing rotating equipment and mechanical systems. Proven capability in fan and fan shroud systems, including installation, inspection, or precision maintenance work. Advanced proficiency in shaft alignment methods and tools. Current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. The ability to evaluate complex mechanical scenarios and make informed, pragmatic decisions with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills, especially when collaborating with teams or presenting findings. Confidence working independently, along with the humility and openness to collaborate effectively.
