POSITION SUMMARY:

POSITION SUMMARY:

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Wellness Coaches assist YMCA members in finding new ways to inspire healthier habits, working closely with members in promoting wellness and helping individuals realize their personal best.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Builds effective, authentic relationships with members, helping members connect with each other and the YMCA.
2. Coaches members in support of their desired behavior change.
3. Introduces new members to group exercise communities based their health and well-being goals.
4. Answers member questions to support their healthy living goals.
5. Utilizes tools and information for the purpose of increasing member knowledge of wellness as well as wellness programs provided through the YMCA (handouts, schedules, etc.).
6. May conduct post-enrollment interviews to understand new members' definition of well-being, personal goals, cultural background, healthcare needs, diverse abilities and interests and develops plans to meet their individual needs.
7. Maintains and cleans equipment according to the schedule or as requested by supervisor.
8. Follows YMCA policies and procedures; responds to emergency situations.
9. Actively participants in department and branch staff meetings.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for monitoring the shared parking lot during peak morning hours to ensure students, staff, and members are parking in designated areas. This role supports safety, traffic flow, and a positive experience for both the YMCA and the adjacent high school community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitor the parking lot during scheduled morning hours (7:00 AM-9:30 AM).
Ensure high school students park in designated student parking areas.
Direct teachers, staff, YMCA employees, and members to appropriate parking areas as needed.
Promote safe traffic flow and pedestrian safety throughout the parking lot.
Communicate parking concerns or recurring issues to YMCA leadership.
Maintain a friendly, professional presence while enforcing parking guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work early morning hours (7:00 AM-9:30 AM) in an outdoor environment
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and dressing appropriately for inclement weather
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear, friendly direction
Ability to remain attentive and alert in a traffic-heavy environment
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Prior experience in customer service, security, traffic control, or a related role preferred but not required
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position is primarily outdoors in a parking lot environment and requires working in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice. The Parking Lot Attendant must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, remain alert to moving vehicles and pedestrians, and communicate clearly with drivers. Appropriate attire for inclement weather is required.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Childwatch staff create positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents/caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Organizes, plans, and executes all activities for participating children.
2. Cultivates positive relationships and maintains effective communication with parents, children and other staff. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions.
3. Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness.
4. Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
5. Maintains required program records including but not limited to attendance.
6. Supports fundraising efforts, attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. At least 16 years of age

6. Complete within 30 days of hire: YMCA cause & culture training; BLS CPR/AED/First Aid

8. Follow youth boundaries policies and abuse risk management training.
9. Report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and adhere to mandated abuse reporting and responsibilities.

Wellness Coaches assist YMCA members in finding new ways to inspire healthier habits, working closely with members in promoting wellness and helping individuals realize their personal best.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Builds effective, authentic relationships with members, helping members connect with each other and the YMCA.
2. Coaches members in support of their desired behavior change.
3. Introduces new members to group exercise communities based their health and well-being goals.
4. Answers member questions to support their healthy living goals.
5. Utilizes tools and information for the purpose of increasing member knowledge of wellness as well as wellness programs provided through the YMCA (handouts, schedules, etc.).
6. May conduct post-enrollment interviews to understand new members' definition of well-being, personal goals, cultural background, healthcare needs, diverse abilities and interests and develops plans to meet their individual needs.
7. Maintains and cleans equipment according to the schedule or as requested by supervisor.
8. Follows YMCA policies and procedures; responds to emergency situations.
9. Actively participants in department and branch staff meetings.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
