Organizes, plans, and executes all activities for participating children. 2. Cultivates positive relationships and maintains effective communication with parents, children and other staff. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions. 3. Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness. 4. Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies. 5. Maintains required program records including but not limited to attendance. 6. Supports fundraising efforts, attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training. 7. Performs other duties as assigned. Assists with the general maintenance and upkeep of the aquatics facility. Performs chemical testing when not guarding, as required, and takes appropriate action. Identifies and celebrates the successes of members and program participants. Actively participates in department and branch meetings and/or trainings. Performs other duties as assigned.
