Our history dates back to 1890, when Farmers and Merchants National Bank opened for business in Abilene, Texas.
1st Financial Bank USA, established in 1910, is a provider of student credit cards and other financial services to college students and college graduates nationwide.
And then, in 1973, the shareholders formed First Abilene Bankshares, Inc. as a multibank holding company.
In 2005, First National Bank of Abilene changed its name to First Financial Bank and added new locations in Clyde and Moran.
The 1FBUSA Financial Goals Scholarship program was first introduced during the fall semester of 2019.
