We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our UK Finance team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. **Key responsibilities:**
You will be working as part of the Risk and Controls team reporting to the Finance Controls Manager and will be responsible for:
+ Support on local reporting technical oversight
+ Interfacing with Ernst and Young on a variety of audit issues
+ Managing ICFR and CECS financial control frameworks
+ Support the implementation of ICIF
+ Provide RACE system training
+ Manage Compliance activities on behalf of Finance
+ Provide support on risk and issue management across Finance
**Your skills and experience:**
+ Ideally part qualified accountant or AAT qualified.
+ Experience of financial controls is highly desirable.
+ Knowledge of financial services, legislation, regulation and accounting policies preferred.
+ Knowledge of financial systems & business platforms (SAP an advantage).
+ Knowledge of insurance products and services
+ Able to understand the wider impact and the big picture in making business decisions
+ Makes decisions in line with responsibility and accountability
