Department/Team Description
The Formulations and Supply Chain Teams at the Muscatine, IA site produces and ships agricultural crop protection products that are used by Farmers across North America.
Position Summary
The Administrative Specialist will support the administrative functions of the assigned areas including documentation support, reporting, procurement of supplies, and other functions as assigned.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
• Issue new and update existing procedures and process documentation
• Assist with creation of purchase requisitions & ordering of non-maintenance items
• Assist with ordering of general supplies
• Assist with new hire onboarding
• Support Process Trainer and Safety coordinator with documentation and reporting
• Provide training and support of basic computer functions: Teams, Outlook, Mapping Drives/Printers, SharePoint, and other standard applications
• Take ownership for area printers, copiers, and related equipment; manage related supplies and needed repairs
• Assist with the administration of Quality reports and Supplier Non-Conformance
• Assist with production transactions in SAP
• General oversight of offices and common areas; ensure functionality of hardware and systems, performance of vendors, ordering supplies
Requirements/Preferences:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Skills & Competency Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• 4+ years of experience in an Administrative, Production Support, or similar role
• Strong organizational skill.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer focus orientation
Preferences - (list nice-to-haves such a specific knowledge items, certifications, skills, abilities, etc.)
• Previous experience supporting manufacturing or production operations.
• Previous experience using enterprise software systems (example: SAP).
