Headquartered in Annapolis, MD and servicing a wide variety of commercial industry-leading firms and state and federal government agencies across the United States and Canada, AdvanTech, Inc. was founded in 1996 with the objective to provide “advanced technology for competitive performance.”
Advantech wins the 2012 Taiwan Top 20 Global Brand Award from the Bureau of Foreign Trade.
Advantech's Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) products, SPC and TPC series has won an iF product design award 2013.
These “intelligence at the network edge” platforms led the company to a new position in the Internet of Things industry and drove the decision in 2015 to change its name to B+B SmartWorx.
At the start of 2016, B+B SmartWorx became part of the global Advantech family, and will be operating as Advantech B+B SmartWorx.
2019 Taiwan Top 5 Global Brands Award Advantech acquires 80% stake of OMRON Nohgata, a subsidiary of OMRON Corporation Advantech held 60% of shares of Turkish Company Alitek.
