$16.00 - $18.00 per hour

WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING UTILITY / WAREHOUSE WORKERS FOR OUR PIZZA HUT LOCATED INSIDE THE DFW AIRPORT!

Utility employees clean, stock and receive product, and move product from warehouse locations to the restaurant.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1) Right to work in the United States

2) Ability to obtain an Airport Security badge by passing an FBI fingerprint check

3) Possess two forms of government-issued identification

4) Government Issued documents must be in excellent condition to be accepted by the airport for application of a security badge

5) Ability to work the shift times required by the airport environment:

Able to arrive as early as 5am and/or able to work as late as midnight or later.

6) Available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Utility:

Applicants for this position need no prior experience as training will be provided. This position will stock products in the location from a downstairs storage area and receive the product. This position may also prepare or prep food when needed for the business day which may include cutting, portioning, and packaging. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and meet all physical requirements of the position. They must understand the job duties including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, working in close quarters, working in extreme heat and cold as they transition from the walk-in to the cook line, taking trash, and other cleaning work that will require them to lift up to 30 pounds.

Working extensively with mechanized cutting, slicing, and mixing equipment and hot cooking appliances such as ovens, ranges, and steamers. This position may work in hot, close quarters for extended periods, with occasional entrance to refrigerated storage areas. This position requires employees to lift up to 30 pounds with frequent bending, stooping, and twisting. He/She works the entire shift on their feet so the ability to stand 100% during the entire shift is required.

The Utility associate is responsible for various services to include but not limited to cleaning equipment, floors, workstations, utensils, pots, and pans using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards; checking ice levels, keg beers, bib sodas, and Co2 containers, and replacing if necessary; loading and unloading supply trucks; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position.

Essential Functions

• Cleans equipment which may include work tables, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other equipment
• Cleans utensils, pots, and pans by washing them by hand or placing them in a dishwashing machine
• Returns clean utensils, pots, and pans to their proper places
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas - Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and buffs floors using heavy equipment
• Cleans walls, windows and steam cleans trashcans - Stocks, dates, rotates and check the temperature of product Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck
• Loads and unloads supply trucks
• Follows all security and safety procedures established by the Company

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment

• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
• Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
