Learning opportunities will include the use of Q-Interactive test administration, consultation with Neuropsychologists at an on-site clinic, opportunities for supervision by a doctoral level school psychologist are available.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED
* Ability to administer assessments in the areas of cognitive, academic, functional and social-emotional domains. Interns will be involved in the assessment of students for case studies of special education needs as well as 504 services.
* Practice writing reports, presenting evaluation results and completing IEP and 504 paperwork
Internship will include opportunities to participate in crisis counseling/individual and group counseling. Exposure to District MTSS program, conducting Functional Behavior Analyses and create behavior intervention plans.
Consult with staff, work with parents and outside agencies under direct supervision of district school psychologists.
Opportunities for supervision by a doctoral level school psychologist are available.
CHSD 218 is located in the south/southwest suburbs of Chicago with schools in Oak Lawn, Palos Heights, Blue Island and Midlothian.

Summary and Purpose: Support student-athlete development in cheerleading and assisting the Eisenhower Athletic Department mission and vision statement.
Responsibilities:
Assist the head coach in teaching cheerleading fundamentals, strategies, and sportsmanship.
Supervise student-athletes during practices, meets, travel, and related events.
Attend and actively participate in all scheduled practices, meets (home and away), and team functions.
Support the head coach in planning practices, developing routines, and conducting skill instruction.
Monitor and enforce all eligibility, safety, and conduct requirements as established by IHSA, the school, and district policies.
Chaperone and supervise athletes at all cheerleading events (including practices, meets, community gatherings, etc.), maintaining discipline and promoting a positive team environment.
Maintain a safe environment and report injuries promptly to appropriate staff.
Complete required paperwork, attendance logs, and communicate with parents and administration as needed.
Attend coach meetings and required professional development as assigned by the athletic department.
Additional Expectations:
Availability to work in the off season
Assist with equipment management, set-up, and breakdown for practices and meets
Attend community events (such as parades, fundraisers, etc.)
Foster academic achievement, positive citizenship, and school spirit among student-athletes.
Complete required first aid, CPR, and district coaching certifications as required by ISBE/IHSA and adhere to all training expectations.
Qualifications:
Previous high school cheerleading coaching experience preferred

Individuals hired from outside CHSD 218 as seasonal coaches or activity sponsors receive only
the contractual stipend for the assignment. Board-provided employee benefits (including health,
dental, life insurance, leave, and participation in district retirement plans) are not available to
