The Role: The Field Calibration Technician will be required to travel on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment. The Field Calibration Technician will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves, should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must. This role will be based in our corporate office in Marietta, GA and will require up to 50% regional travel. The Field Calibration Technician will be required to travel on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment. Candidate will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves, should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must. Responsibilities Calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, voltage calibrators etc.) RF Frequency measuring and Generating Devices (spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, FR counters) Temperature & Humidity devices (data loggers, hygrometer, environmental chambers, ovens) High Voltage Generating and Measuring equipment (Hipot tester, Meggers, Insulation testers) Basic mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations Qualifications Requirements 3 - 5+ years of electronic calibration or relevant experience with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and/or a combination of experience and education Candidate should have previous experience in electronic equipment calibration; Candidates with experience using electronic measurement equipment will also be considered.
