Qualifications
Must possess competence in the following areas in order to perform this role in a safe, productive and effective manner:
Interprets drawings, sketches, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems
Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations
Installs control and distribution apparatus' and fastens in place
Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components
Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment
Work with medium and low voltage systems
Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems

Qualifications We Require:

+ Perform work using industry-standard safety practices, techniques, and sequences for determining the de-energization of high voltage circuits; installation and removal of grounding clusters; demonstrate knowledge of test equipment to troubleshoot high voltage electrical circuits; work with facilities/construction engineers to evaluate, plan, and coordinate utility spotting activities.
+ Must have experience in the construction of HV equipment/systems and an understanding of the associated hazards involved. Must have working knowledge of SNL's high voltage electrical transmission and distribution systems and complete SNL's High Voltage Mentorship Program.
+ Obtain the mobile crane certification.

Qualifications We Desire:

Job Purpose: To fulfill our mission by being part of a team to prevent the facilities of Glorieta from being a distraction to the guests' experience. This includes working towards creating a functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing facility. This role specifically will focus on electrical repairs and maintenance and will assist the entire maintenance team with work.
Overall Responsibility
Primarily perform tasks consisting of electrical repairs, both residential and commercial. We have 200 buildings and a network of sewer and water lines connecting them to an onsite treatment facility and wells.
Secondarily help guests and the maintenance team with problems, such as: hot water, toilet, shower, AC issues, electrical, plumbing, etc.
Be on-call once to a few times each week to help with on-site problems with guests. On-call time requires being on campus and exhibiting excellent customer service skills and solving facilities problems to the best of one's ability.
Other Duties of ALL Glorieta Staff: Serving guests is our number one priority, and therefore ALL staff must participate in guest service in some capacity. Work Context: This job will be performed primarily on location at the Glorieta, New Mexico location.
Travel: Possible infrequent travel to workshop trainings.
Physical Demands: As a part of the Maintenance team and larger Glorieta team, the job may occasionally require the ability to lift heavy loads, walk all over the property and facilities, stand for a lengthy period of time, and bend and squat to install or service equipment. Be willing to get one's hands dirty.
Work Environment: Most work will be done throughout campus, including indoors and outdoors. This may include working in inclement weather conditions throughout the year. Training: Maintenance employees will be given opportunity for improvement through appropriate training.
