This position is responsible for installing electrical equipment such as inverters, disconnects, cables and panels, bending/installing conduit, pulling and terminating wire, and commissioning various control components and devices required to complete the installation of commercial rooftop solar systems. Our projects are located throughout the southeastern United States. Frequent travel is required, however, most work is performed during weekdays. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install equipment, cables and panels, bend, properly size and install conduit, pull and terminate wire, and install various Distribution panel and Disconnect sizes required to complete installation of commercial rooftop solar systems. Tie in solar system to utility interconnection. Ensure all projects pass state and local jurisdictional requirements. Review project Bill of Material at loading dock to ensure that assigned crew truck is adequately stocked for assigned projects. Act as primary point of contact at site representing Colite Technologies to our customers, permitting authorities and host utilities. Maintain a culture of accountability by directing daily activities of crew members and overseeing quality of their work. Drive a continuous improvement culture that optimizes quality, customer satisfaction and schedule completion. When needed, lead, train crew members, and delegate tasks to crew members in the absence of the crew lead.
