Perform regular safety inspections to IBO and Washer ovens.
Work with outside contractors to maintain the fire alarm system in proper working order.

Assist and support other production floor operations as required.
Properly complete all administrative tasks, including logbooks, data entry and record keeping.

What you would do in this job
Performs electrical work related to the system process.
Maintains personnel protection system for fire, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrocarbon alarm systems.
Engineers, designs, and lays out electrical/electronic control circuits.
Performs electrical construction work. Verifies proper operation with collection/plant system processes.
Troubleshoots and repairs a wide variety of electrical/electronic equipment including PLC, VFD, MCC, telemetry, and SCADA systems.
Performs calibration and verification on various process instrumentation, metering, and recording devices (pressure, level, flow, weight, etc.).
Checks and maintains emergency service equipment.
Coordinates inventory needs and stocking issues with procurement and warehouse staff.
Completes job reports on labor and material.
Works with maintenance management systems (WAM), process control systems (Cimplicity/Wonderware), and other computer system software programs.
Maintains monitoring systems at lift stations, meter sites, river quality monitoring, regulator, and rain gauge sites.

What education and experience are required for this job (minimum qualifications)

Graduate of a two (2) year vocational/technical program in Electrical Construction and Maintenance AND five (5) years of journey-level experience that includes instrumentation, controls, and programmable logic controller programming (industrial experience).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Pull electrical permits for all work performed by licensed CSB staff and serves as the primary point of contact for inspectors throughout the permitting and inspection process.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial and industrial job sites

Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, safety protocols, and company standards
Order materials and manage job site logistics
Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journeymen
Maintain detailed job records and daily reports
Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues in real time
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of field experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
Proven leadership experience as a Foreman or Lead Electrician
Strong working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Journeyman (required) or Master Electrician license (preferred)

* Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.
*Preferred Requirements: *
* Journeyman license preferred.
* ISA certification preferred.
* Programmable logic controller / Distributed control system (PLC/DCS) troubleshooting/programming experience preferred.
