Job summary

A Project Manager (PM) is the person responsible for ensuring that all the stated project objectives are accomplished. It is imperative that a PM understand the exact needs of the client and the scope of the show. The PM is the liaison between the production team and the client. They must have a fair knowledge of Corporate Audio-Visual Operations, AV Technology and Event Management, so that they are capable of understanding and discussing the project with either party. It is essential in ensuring that the key issues of cost, time, quality and above all, client satisfaction, can be realized and managed appropriately.

Key project management responsibilities include but are not limited to, working with the Director of Event Technology and Sales Manager of the property to create clear, attainable project objectives and ensuring that all the project objectives or tasks are appropriately assigned, on time, and within budget, including the scheduling of equipment and contract labor, as well as leading the set up and strike down for the scheduled event(s). The PM also ensures clear communication with the Client, INSPIRE Team Members and all other parties involved.

This role will require travel up 60-75% percent to help support the properties in the area.

Summary of essential job functions
Project Management
•Project manage events directly as needed
•Schedule and communicate with Senior Project Manager
•Input, adjust, and review orders in R2 as needed
•Assist sales team in quoting correct audio visual equipment, and attending site visits.
•Design and Oversee the signal flow of audio, visual, and lighting systems for each event based on available inventory and ensure orders and quotes are complete in every detail.
•Operate AV equipment with full understanding of signal flow and equipment specifications
•Determine equipment shortages while preparing equipment order, recommend substitutions
•Manage on-site team members, IATSE and Freelance technicians
•Maintain clean and safe warehouse, working areas, and company vehicles.

Strategic Collaboration
•Give support to all branch and hospitality team members.
•Developing and maintaining excellent relations with co-workers always encouraging good communication and teamwork attitude.
•Complies with additional requested tasks by the Senior Project Manager

Minimum requirements
•Degree or related career in AV Industry is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•Must have High School Diploma
•Ability to learn new systems
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
•Knowledge of and working experience in event productions and organization
