This position offers a $500 Hire on Bonus paid out in 2 installments at 30 & 90 days.

The Position:
We are seeking a Finisher/ Assembler to join our Acme team. Typical hours for this position are Monday thru Friday 6:00am-4:30pm. In this position you will be performing a variety of part assembly and finishing operations as an integral part of our team. Must be available for overtime including weekends and during peak production times. This position offers a $500.00 hire-on-bonus.
Job duties:
-Follow written instructions

-Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
-Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

-Ability to stand for up to 10 hours at a time

Accurately and efficiently assembles/tests a variety of moderate to semi-complex products to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules. May perform lockwiring and final detailing functions. Works on products that contain mostly mechanical and some electrical components, single and some dual hydraulic systems, and multiple part families. Qualifications and Education Requirements
1. Five or more years direct industry related experience in assembly/test in a high-technology manufacturing environment. 2. Demonstrate understanding of semi-complex products involving electronics, dual systems, and multiple part families. 3. Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques. 4. Able to research problems and develop solutions, incorporating multiple variables, to successfully repair product to serviceable condition. 5. Able to work with limited supervisory guidance. Assembly activity utilizes a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers, and precision micrometers to obtain proper build requirements.
Test activity needs the use of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
Maintains dimensional accuracy on assemblies using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, and gauging. Works from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and oral. Diagnoses test failures and perform necessary rework in order that the unit will pass test requirements. Cleans components to needed cleanliness levels. Be needed to work on repair units normally run with production units. On occasion, the Assembler/Technician be needed to travel to customer facilities and service client hardware.

The Salary for this position is $23.10 per hour (Max Pay rate).
