Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for an SE-4Avionics Penetration Tester located at the 47th Cyberspace Test Squadron Detachment 1 at Edwards AFB, CA. The experience set we are searching for is pretty broad, but generally fits into 3 areas; IT system penetration testers, hardware/software reverse engineers, and embedded systems engineers. We realize that no one will have all of these qualifications. We are looking for people that can bring a strong foundation in one of the listed areas and are motivated to learn the others.
JOB STATUS: Full-Time
TRAVEL: Yes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS(Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active Secret
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in either an Engineering or Cybersecurity related Discipline and more than 10 years of relevant experience
CERTIFICATIONS: IAT Level 3 Required
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: SE-4
Required Experience:
+ U.S. Citizenship is required.
+ Active Secret clearance is required.
+ Completed or working towards an OSCP certification and demonstrate the ability to conduct an IP based test by providing demonstration of (any) home lab, HTB, THM, various CTF's, and have the ability to provide a test report debrief highlighting your methodology.
+ Military aircraft operations, maintenance, test or acquisition experience is desired
+ Exceptional Written and Verbal communication skills.
+ An ability to convey technical ideas and cybersecurity concepts in a clear, logical fashion.
+ Prior understanding of aircraft avionics navigation, communication, and datalinks is desired.
+ Understanding of the penetration testing process.
+ Prior experience with the use of enterprise penetration test tools. (nmap, Nessus, BurpSuite, Hydra, Metasploit, etc.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
+ Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is desired
+ Experience with the DoD test and evaluation process is desired
+ Knowledge of Python is desired
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Lead junior penetration testers on test events and provide mentorship/training to junior testers
+ Execute test projects and program objectives with various DoD and federal agency customers
+ Review technical documentation related to Avionics Embedded Systems and RF datalinks and identify potential design shortfalls that might result in a cybersecurity weakness
+ Develop test corpus and test plans to validate the presence of these weaknesses
+ Analysis data from test events and present this data in a coherent and accurate manner for the customer
+ Work with operational testers and pilots to identify vulnerabilities which might affect the cyber resiliency of the platform for a given mission
+ Develop cyber contested environments to demonstrate the resiliency of the platform under test
