The driver may also move loads using a tractor within the shop (not on public roads). When delivery demands are low, the Driver assists with shop tasks to support overall operations. Essential Job Functions Driving & Deliveries * Safely operate delivery vehicles, primarily an F-550, for local deliveries and occasional day trips. * Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all delivery vehicles. * Follow designated routes and schedules as directed. * Load and unload wall panels and other construction materials safely and efficiently. * Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate promptly regarding any issues. Shop Support * Move loads and materials within the shop using a tractor or other equipment. * Assist with receiving, unloading, and staging of materials for panel fabrication. * Support the panel production process by assisting with material handling, organization, and clean-up. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and shop areas. * Assist as needed during periods without deliveries to ensure efficient shop operations. Physical Demands To perform the essential functions of this role, the employee must meet the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: * Stand and walk for extended periods. * Crouch, squat, bend, and climb as needed to access or secure loads. * Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 lbs. * Perform repetitive movements such as loading, unloading, and securing materials. Required Skills & Qualifications * Proven work experience as a commercial driver. * Valid Class A CDL (required). * Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. * Ability to safely handle oversized loads. * Strong organizational and multitasking skills. * Punctual, dependable, and adaptable to handle unexpected situations. * Knowledge of safety protocols for material handling and shop operations. * Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and shop personnel. * Bi-lingual skills are a plus. Preferred Experience * At least 1 year of delivery driving experience. * Prior experience supporting shop or manufacturing operations. * Familiarity with prefabricated building materials is a plus.
