This position has the primary responsibility of supporting the development of solutions for the Coatings Industry. The position is working in the prep department producing slurries for coating. Job DescriptionCompounder, Batch Operator, Blender, Mixing, Chemicals If you are a Compounder with product mixing, ingredient mixing, and/or batch processing experience in a manufacturing/plant setting, we have an immediate day shift role available for those with applicable experience.

We are open to those candidate with a 2+ years of applicable experience, however priority consideration will be given to those candidates with at-least 3-5+ Years of directly applicable experience and knowledge of:
"Batch Operator/ Mixer experience
"any previous experience as a compounder or with Ingredient Mixing

We are currently hiring for a Batch Operator in our Construction plant.

Compensation:
$22.57 per hour until plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift

Responsibilities:
The role of a batch operator apprentice is to safely operate and control systems in weighing, metering, and mixing raw materials to make consistent batches while following batch sheets and quality standards to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
• Chemical processing/batch experience strongly preferred

Capabilities:
• Ability to lift at least 55 pounds on a regular basis
• Standing 50-100% of the time
• Must be able to wear a respirator while performing this job
• Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including head, eye, ear and foot protection 90-100% of the time

Shift
3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:30am)
Initial training will occur during 1st shift which is 7:00am - 3:15pm
Occasional overtime may be required.
