In 1963 Pastor Robert Borgwardt became Bethel’s ninth Senior Pastor During his tenure radio gave way to television and after two other programs were aired “Worship At Bethel” began on WKOW, TV 27 with telecasts on three out of state stations.
In 1963, Bethel joined the American Lutheran Church, and changed its name from Bethel English Lutheran Church to Bethel Lutheran Church.
In 1969 440 acres were purchased near Dodgeville, and Bethel Horizons was born.
A proposal was passed on June 11, 1978, to refurbish the Fellowship hall at a cost of $28,000.
In 1991 Pastor Bill White, a Wisconsin native became Bethel’s 10th Senior Pastor.

in 2014, four new apartments and eight attached garages were built onto the original Bethel Apartments complex.
in 2016, remodeling of the vacant childcare center building began and two, larger patio homes were built in what is referred to as "Patio Home - East" and the first residents moved in on December, 2016.
