ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote the sales of Bingo admissions, Bingo Paper and Pull Tabs Game pieces to patrons.
  • Inform patrons of upcoming events or emergency calls
  • Observe sporting events to make running commentary, keep the audience enthused and attentive.
  • Announce or call Bingo numbers in an efficient process and in a clear distinctive voice, announce games being played, color of bingo card, prize money and other general information to patrons.
  • Accountable for monies collected for sale of Bingo paper, pull tabs and excess paper at end of Bingo game, knowledge of Bingo operations and equipment, including PA and entertainment system.
  • Verify each winning card by means of computer, maintain lights on display boards and proper display of game information on game boards.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Accept payment and make change.
  • Distribute correct Bingo paper to Floor workers and maintain accurate record of distribution.
  • Reconcile sales of Floor Workers, audit paper booth and assist with the collection of discarded paper at the end of each Bingo session.
  • Track payouts, redeem winning tickets, and rate all pertinent player activity.
  • Notify supervisor of any disputes, problems or concerns with either a patron or a game.
  • Responsible for knowing all events in the property.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three months related experience and/or training
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino bingo cashier job description

Provides guests and team members with "World Class" service, while accurately and expediently performing cash transactions. Prepares and pays out bingo transactions to bingo floor clerks as assigned. Ensures all documents are signed during the shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

+ Complies with all governmental laws and regulations and all casino and departmental policies and procedures, including Title 31 Regulations, Minimum Internal Control Standards, and Tribal Gaming Commission Regulations.

+ Performs all duties and tasks while behaving in a professional, pleasant, and cordial manner with our guests and fellow team members.

+ Makes eye contact and greets our guests with a warm friendly smile and courteous greeting.

+ Acts as a source of information to our guests and provides them with inclusive details of all facility amenities, services, and Players' Club benefits.

+ Assumes the responsibility for assigned funds ("Bank") at beginning of each shift and ensures the accuracy of the "Bank" during shift.

+ Maintains confidentiality regarding casino statistics, guest information, and department related issues.

+ Observes and reports guests who attempt to use fraudulent ID or other forms of fraudulent items, including counterfeit currency, or coupons

+ Utilizes the AllTrak2 software system for sale of Bingo Cards.

+ Utilizes the Alltrak2 software system to update player information in the database.

+ Sells Bingo Bucks as assigned. Informs customers of "House Rules", and reports violations to the supervisor

+ Safeguards Bingo Admissions Bank and Sales Revenue

+ Alerts Bingo Management of notable problems or potential problems as they may apply to the Department.

+ Maintains a high level of accuracy; performs with minimal variances

+ Monitors inventory of Bingo programs and calendars and alerts Management when reorder is necessary

+ Maintains a safe and clean working environment and performs limited house keeping duties specific to the bingo cage.

Job Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age

+ One or more years of high volume cash handling experience

+ Basic math skills

+ Excellent guest/team member relations skills

+ Good verbal and written communications skills

+ Ability to maintain accurate records

+ Must be punctual and able to adjust to change

+ Ability to work in a smoking environment

+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with no guarantee of hours, or specific days off

+ Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time as job requires

+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Spanish speaking a plus.

+ Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of U.S. currency.

+ Ability to deal with problems in a sometimes stressful situation.

+ Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
