Description:
Candidate will be responsible for blending concentrate.
Unloading concentrate from trucks using a forklift (sit-down)
Follow batch sheets according to each customers orders
Learn how to use company specific Quality Management System (QMS), Safety Management System (SMS), Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
_Must have_ - Experience working as a blender/compounder in a manufacturing environment, math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), operate a computer (MS Office OR SAP)
Work Environment:
Must wear Steel toe shoes when on the floor (must bring their own)
GMP regulated and food environment
There are three different storage temperatures where ingredients are stored in the Blending department (ambient, cooler and freezer).
As a blender, they will NOT be working in the cold environment.
The only reason they will be exposed to the cold might be to pull ingredients out. Would say that is about 20% change and if so, they will provide cold gear.
GMP dress code guidelines:
-Jeans
-NO Jewelry... no wedding ring... NOTHING
-NO Nail Polish
-Hairnet/Beard net required at all times
Shifts available:
2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $18/- $21hour
3rd shift: 11pm - 7am (Sunday-Thursday)
Pay: $18/- $21hour
