Responsibilities
Researching market trends and current investment conditions Finding and purchasing fixed income securities Executing daily trading operations Monitoring trading transactions and complying with regulations Reviewing and submitting trades for processing/allocations Maintaining and updating trade records and data Communicating trading details, risks and markets with advisors Producing reports for advisors describing various investment opportunities Collaborating with team and other cross-functional areas on projects ranging from software discovery/implementation, onboarding of new firms to current trading systems and processes, improvement of current processes utilizing available technology, etc. Building solid relationships with wealth advisory teams and other departments within Mariner including investments, compliance, etc. Managing and prioritizing multiple time sensitive tasks

• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, and phone skills
• Experience with various trading systems a plus

REQURIED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or other related business major required
• 1+ years Trading or Operations experience preferred
