Job Description Performs custodial work in accordance with Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada (BGCSNV) standards. Maintains the cleanliness of offices, program areas, storage areas, restrooms, gym, other building interiors as well as exterior grounds and parking lots. May interact with youth and lead facility related activities as needed. The essential job duties for this role include:
Responsibility
Perform routine carpet cleaning, including spot cleaning and deep cleaning as needed.
Strip, wax, and buff VCT (vinyl composition tile) flooring to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
Cleans and disinfects sinks, floors, and countertops in all program areas including restrooms and kitchen.
Removes trash and recycling from all rooms.
Ensures dumpster areas are clean and available for trash/recycling pickup.
Dusts surfaces to include wall hung items, doorways, window frames, and baseboards.
Washes windows (interior and exterior) including entryways.
Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
May remove stains from such surfaces as carpet, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
Ensure all club areas, including outdoor spaces, are kept clean and orderly.
Event Support
Assist with setting up and breaking down rooms and equipment for events, programs, and activities.
Provide support for special events, including additional cleaning or rearranging furniture as needed.
Other Duties
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

The essential job duties for this role include: Administration:
Manages and administers all grant programs to ensure adherence and compliance with rules, regulations, assurances, and requirements of grantor agencies. This includes any grant/funding opportunities with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Schedule and manage meetings to collect program information, clarify requirements or outcomes, and develop grant proposals. Work closely with program and financial staff to prepare budgets for grant proposals. Manage the grant inbox and communicate with follow-up phone calls and emails.
Manage grants calendar. Tracks applications, communicates results of submissions, and carries out follow-up for unsuccessful proposals. Ensuring that documents are stored in required areas.
Works in collaboration with Department Directors and Executive Leadership to identify potential funding opportunities and ensure fit with the overall funding strategy and direction of the organization.
Assists with the annual organizational budget process and the year-end close process with external auditors.
Works in collaboration Department Directors to strategize on funding options and share information needed to complete grant applications;
Provides training and technical assistance to Club program staff in all aspects of implementing and reporting grant-funded programs to ensure the effectiveness and compliance with program rules, regulations and requirements.
Monitors program activities to ensure adherence to grant/program outcome measures.
Works directly with funding agencies and auditors regarding grant requirements and request requirements.
Acts as point of contact with the Boys & Girls Clubs Nevada Alliance to gather, compile, and report to the State of Nevada, as required, on funding around State Assembly/Senate bills.
Cultivates and maintains relationships with current and potential funders.
Works with Club leaders and Operations to ensure that our membership database is utilized to collect program data leading to accurate and timely submission of required reports.
Compiles information required and prepares grant reports as dictated by grantors;
Analyzes grant funding trends to identify growing programs, opportunities for increased funding, and areas in need of greater development.
Serve as an organizational representative at funder meetings, conferences, and other networking events as needed, exemplifying BGCSNV's core values of integrity, excellence, and community. Develops and implements cleaning and maintenance plans, project calendars, assignments, task lists and schedules.

Participates in the creation of the annual Facilities budget related to custodial and maintenance services. Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of the budget and adhering to BGCSNV fiscal policy with relation to custodial and maintenance services.

We are currently seeking applications for our James Club (2530 East Carey Avenue North Las Vegas, NV 89030) at this time Shift: Monday-Friday 10AM-7PM The Healthy Lifestyles Specialist is responsible for overseeing all Healthy Lifestyles (Health & Wellness and Sports & Recreation) programs at their assigned Clubhouse(s). This includes planning, development, reporting, and implementation of these programs in collaboration with the Programs team. The Healthy Lifestyles Specialist also assists with other operational functions of the Clubhouse and may serve as acting Clubhouse supervisor in the absence of the Clubhouse Director and Assistant Clubhouse Director.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and/or Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. · High school diploma or equivalent.
· Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with youth in a health, wellness, sports, and/or recreation setting.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
· Ability to deal effectively with multi-age groups of children, small groups of children in activities and free play, and large groups of children in organized activities.
· Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
· Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
· Ability to interact professionally with the public, families, Youth Development Professionals, and members.
· Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well-being, and output of others.
· Strong communication skills.
