Job Description

Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to, depending on their function, create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense. Also responsible for maintaining the Business Continuity Database and leveraging Data Management solutions to streamline processes.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
* Three to five years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

* Thorough knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
* Thorough understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
* Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
* Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills
* Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs
* Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
* Emergency Management background a plus
* Proven Data Management skills needed

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $73,865.00 - $86,900.00 - $95,590.00

This position develops enterprise-wide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery awareness and facilitates training to assist business areas with maintaining and executing their recovery plans. With the goal of optimizing finite recovery resources, determines operational impacts, analyzes data to determine recovery time and recovery point objectives, and reports findings to senior leadership. May create and manage external contracts with emergency service providers to address recovery gaps. In the event of a major business disruption, this position coordinates recovery efforts, which includes documenting the actions taken and facilitating the internal and external disaster declaration process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage software that houses business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis communication plans and other business continuity information.
* Manage software that houses employee emergency communication information and execution of emergency communications as directed.
* Conduct an annual disaster recovery test for all business continuity and disaster recovery plans documented recovery strategies.
* Develop criticality information and make recommendations for criticality levels and recovery resource allocation.
* Establish and document emergency chain of command.
* Refine communication plan, including designating key roles and responsibilities.
* Maintain, exercise and implement call trees and scripts.
* Oversee a business continuity awareness and training program.
* Coordinate recovery efforts in the event of a major business disruption.
* Audit annual business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of healthcare/insurance experience and education

EXPERIENCE

* Five years of business continuity and/or disaster recovery experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
* Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
* Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
* Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
* Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
* Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
* Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
* Rare climbing.
