Job Description Our team is looking for Part-Time Drivers for Tuesday 7am-4pm, Friday, and Saturday 8am-430pm Pay rate: $15.12 per hr. $500.00 sign-on bonus after 90 days. This position is responsible for the safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles on Auction property, driving vehicles to and from Auction lots and customer businesses, and driving vehicles through Auction sale lanes on designated sale days and in compliance with Auction safety rules and regulations. Job Responsibilities: * Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner. * Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses, while observing Auction driving rules, and rules of the road and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principles. * Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the supervisor or team leader, move vehicles as necessary, and locate "lost" vehicles. * Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed. Inflate tires and jump-start vehicles using a battery box and air tank if necessary. Notify the supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative; notify the Service or Gas Truck Driver when the vehicle is out of gas. * Assist customers (i.e., dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and coworkers as needed. * Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. * Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. * May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate. Qualifications: * Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required * Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles. * Ability to sit for prolonged periods. * Ability to walk long distances. * Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear. * Stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, squatting, and climbing are frequently required. * Ability to lift 1-15 pounds. * Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Preferred: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous auction experience preferred. * Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission Work Environment: Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Shuttle Driver The Shuttle Driver drives a passenger van to transport customers from the dealership to their home or business and may pick them up for a return trip to the dealership. The driver may assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle. He or she will operate radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service. The Shuttle Driver may perform errands for the dealership to transport or pick up materials from various local destinations. The driver also will clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories, keep records of trips and behavior of passengers (if disruptive). He or she may perform other duties when not driving, such as custodial and light building maintenance tasks. Essential Job Duties: Drive passenger van (up to 15 passengers) or a passenger vehicle to transport customers (log mileage). Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle if needed. Follow customers' directions to arrive at desired destination. Monitor vehicle maintenance/fuel. Run errands for the dealership if needed. Regular and predictable attendance. Keeps shuttle vehicles maintained and clean when not transporting customers or running errands. Qualification Criteria: High School graduation or equivalent is required for all employees.
