We currently have a Cell Site Technician III role open in our Central region. This role will be 100% remote with overnight travel to customer sites in the regional area of West Virginia, Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Periodic travel may be required outside of the geographic region. A company car is provided for customer-site travel. The preferred location for this role is the Western West Virginia/Morgantown, West Virginia area.
Your responsibilities

* On-time completion and quality of the installation project
* Support job package administration including weekly tool inventory, write and submit the MOP, JIM preparation and submittal, create timesheet for self and crew, safety adherence, and house cleaning
* Responsible for inventory and staging of equipment and materials, weekly status report to supervisor, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings
* Add or remove all wiring and connections on non-working DC power equipment and assisting Level IV Technician on working equipment
* Assist Level IV Technician on lead verification (voltage)

* Add or remove telecom batteries
* Add or remove common systems equipment hardware
* Follow all EHS guidelines

* Basic Qualifications:
* • High School Diploma/GED
* • Three years of experience in Telecom DC power equipment installation
* • Two years of experience in pulling & sewing cable, construction of cable racking, bay mounting
* • Valid driver's license
* • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
* • Ability and willingness to travel 75% of the time
* • Ability and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)
* Physical Requirements:
* • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
* • Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove 80-750 lb. batteries
* • Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.
* • Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.
* • Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time
* • Continuous standing
* • Frequently reaching above, below or at shoulder level
* • Frequently bending, twisting, or stooping
* • Frequently crouching or squatting
* • Be exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold
